Treatment & Suitability Policy
At Mooni Headspa®, your comfort, safety, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Our treatments are thoughtfully crafted to suit a wide range of guests – however, there are certain circumstances where a treatment may not be suitable or may need to be adapted.
By booking with us, you confirm that you understand and accept the following.
General Suitability
Our services are designed for adults aged 18 and over.
We do not currently offer treatments to those under 18, even with parental consent.
We kindly ask that you complete your digital consultation form at least 24 hours before your appointment so we can prepare accordingly.
This ensures we have time to review any conditions, allergies, or preferences that may affect your treatment.
Health & Medical Conditions
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or currently taking lactation-safe medication (including antibiotics), we are unfortunately unable to offer treatments due to the use of essential oils and therapeutic massage techniques.
Please inform us before booking if you have:
- Any heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or circulatory disorders
- Recent surgery, injury, or trauma
- Severe eczema, psoriasis, or other scalp conditions
- A pacemaker or implant that may be affected by water, steam, vibration, or electrical tools
- Any condition that may affect your ability to lie flat for long periods
We’ll always do our best to adapt where possible – but we reserve the right to decline or reschedule treatments if they may cause discomfort or risk.
Allergies & Sensitivities
All of our products are chosen for their gentle, naturally-derived ingredients – but they may still contain essential oils or active ingredients that could trigger sensitivity.
Please note:
- We are a nut-aware space but cannot guarantee a nut-free environment
- If you have known allergies or intolerances, let us know in advance
- You are welcome to bring your own approved products if required
Patch tests are not required for our treatments, but you are welcome to request one in advance if you have concerns.
Comfort & Accessibility
We are committed to creating a safe, sensory-aware space for all guests.
If you have any specific support needs or accessibility concerns, just let us know – we’re always happy to make adjustments.
This may include:
- Lighting preferences
- Music or silence
- Massage pressure
- Water temperature
- Towel sizes or modesty adaptations
- Option to bring a support person
On the Day
If we believe it would be unsafe or inappropriate to proceed with your treatment, we reserve the right to adapt, shorten, or postpone your service in line with our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
We will never proceed without your informed consent.
If you’re unsure whether a treatment is suitable for you, feel free to get in touch before booking – we’re here to help you feel confident, relaxed, and safe from the very first step.
